About Video Blogging (Vlogging)

Video Blogging (Vlogging) offers an interactive and engaging experience for those seeking new and innovative ways to interact with students or employees. Teachers, managers, and facilitators can use video blogging to interact with learners in more personalized ways to help connect and build an engaging experience. Videos can be used as introductory tools to greet your class or team, to provide demonstrations, offer feedback, and provide updates and information. It is a tool that is fairly easy to use and can enhance online and blended delivery approaches. Videos provide an opportunity to step away from traditional delivery to reach tech savyy learners in ways they can relate to. Video blogs are more personal, creative, and interesting for accessing information, sharing, and learning. And realistically, students are more likely to watch a video than to read an instructional hand-out! Opportunities for video content and applicability are limitless! Let me help you get started!

Why Video Blog? And learn how...

Videos for learning can change the dynamic of your classroom and personalize the learning journey. You can use videos as an alternative to traditional teaching & learning. These tools offer students a unique experience and allow them to access content anywhere, anytime. Video blogs allow you to customize and personalize your material, are a flexible e-learning option, and is a more engaging approach compared to accessing another slide deck! Imagine sending a video to your class from the most beautiful beach near you or from an international conference you are attending-- how engaging would this be for your students or employees to view? Sharing yourself and your surroundings engages the learner in a more personal and meaningful way as students interact with videos that are customized and individualized for them!
